Artist Statement:

Tara Argall is a native North Dakotan and has been creating art for most of her life with a start in art lessons in early adolescence. She has a great love for color and texture and incorporates whatever it takes to get the look and effect that she wants. Nothing is sacred when it comes to creating.

Tara’s interests and subject matter are diverse and she revels at the challenge of translating an image, thought, statement or idea into a work of art that will speak to the viewer. She specializes and is known for her mixed media collages.

Tara has no formal art background but has taken several workshops from nationally know artists and commits to this venue annually as part of her artistic growth. She works with a variety of mediums from watercolor to pastels and will mix several of them for interest and effect. Her mixed media pieces often reveal a subtle surprise element expressed in collage or some other new found fashion.

Tara shows her work in a variety of venues to include businesses and retail outlets in Fargo and the surrounding Dakotas and Minnesota. She participates in several art shows, fair, and trade shows throughout the year. She does commissioned works, customizing work for decorators, businesses, for gifts and any other venue looking for a unique and special appearance.
